Description of the problem | Vehicle has been sitting in my garage for almost a month (as i was away traveling for work) and my wife noticed wavy cracks all across the rear glass panel of the panoramic sunroof (fixed glass panel that does not move) when we were out driving this past weekend. There is no indication of how this cracked, car was stationary as i am the only one who drives it. There has been no impact to the top, and after doing research this seems to be an all-to-common occurrence in this vehicle model and some other ford vehicles as well. I am afraid if this cracks further it may cause a safety risk inside the cabin with broken glass. There is no recall to-date on this glass issue, but i am aware of a class action lawsuit filed against ford because of this issue. |
