Description of the problem | While parked in my home garage, about 3-5 min after turning off my vehicle, the back window exploded and shattered. The explosion was loud enough to be heard throughout the inside the house with the garage door shut. Time was approximately 8:30 pm. Prior to parking the car i had commuted approximately 7 miles from work. I did use the front and rear defrost for approximately 5 minutes of the commute, but had switched to normal auto temperature control for most of the drive. It was about 35 degrees outside. |
