Description of the problem | Started having white smoke. Sheehy ford dealership told me i needed a new engine due to coolant intrusion into cylinder 1. Car has 88,000 miles and has been cared for exactly as ford recommends and mileage was all highway mileage due to my job. Cost for new engine is $8,000. Found out about tsb 19-2346 after researching the diagnosis. If i would have know this last dec (when it was released) i could have traded the car for my new toyota. After hours and hours of research, i will now get rid of my 2 fords and get a rav 4 and another tacoma. |
