Description of the problem | Vehicle vacuum brake booster has a leak that can be heard in the cab of the vehicle. It is not currently covered by the warranty however a vaccum test reveals less than recommended pressure in the system. Brakes are spongy when used. The vehicle in question has 6147 miles. Ford refuses to replace the vacuum booster regardless of multiple technicians reporting the issue and states that it appears to act as designed despite loss of braking power significantly increased stopping distance. |
