Description of the problem | Purchased a 2010 ford escape new, 4 months after the air conditioning stopped working. Took it to the dealership to have it fixed and they claimed it could not be fixed because it was damaged by an object most likely from the road. Damages are not covered under warranty. The service tech went on to say that the grill does not provide adequate protection for the ac condenser therefore even if i paid to have it fixed and didn't replace the grill, it could happen again. It has been over 3 months and ford still refuses to pay for the repair. It is now on average 102 degrees outside and i cannot drive my vehicle due to the heat and inability to use the ac. |
