Description of the problem | The throttle body went bad on my 2010 ford escape limited v6 3. 0l engine. My car is 41 days out of warranty and the for dealer charge me close to 500. Dollars to replace the throttle body. I kept the old throttle body for evidence. There should be some type of regulation on this item. Because i almost got killed by this defect. Ford manager contacted me,her name is [xxx]. She told me to keep my receipt because they were having problems with the throttle body's vendor. That this may come to a recall..
