Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford escape. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v777000 (fuel system, gasoline); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that the check engine indicator and check fuel message illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the chapman ford of horseman dealer who read the diagnostic code and cleared it to have the message and warning indicator disabled. Shortly after, the same warning indicator and message returned. The contact took the vehicle to a certified mechanic who verified the same diagnostic code and informed the contact that the warning indicator and message would more than likely continue until the recall remedy was completed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the part for the recall repair would not be available until october of 2017. The approximate failure mileage was 128,000.
