Description of the problem | Recall 16v-777 i received a letter from ford in january 2018 stating that parts were available for the vehicle to be fixed. I immediately called my local ford dealer - gibbons ford and was put on the waiting list since they didn't have the parts. It is now april and the dealer has only received three of the parts to date to fix this problem. I called ford customer sevice and was given a case number cas14605645. I was told this would be elevated to their management, but i think four months is extremely long time to effect a recall. The vehicle smells like gas and i'm hesitant to drive it due to the increased risk of fire. I basically have a vehicle i can't drive waiting on ford to get parts to the dealership. Any pressure that can be put on ford to get the parts to the dealership would be greatly appreciated. |
