Description of the problem | Drove about an hour away from home, mostly highway. When i got into the city towards the end of the trip, the wrench light came on and the car stopped accelerating. I pulled over and restarted the car and was able to go a few hundred feet before i lost acceleration again. This time the check engine light came on. I pulled over, waited about 10 minutes, restarted the car, and was able to drive the rest of the way (less than a mile). The car was towed to the nearest dealer where it was determined the throttle body needed to be replaced. I am currently on a long waiting list for parts. |
