Description of the problem | I was stopped at a stop sign and when i accelerated the car completely shut down and the gas was not working. The little wrench on the dash came on and i was able to coast to the side of the road. After looking it up in the manual it said throttle problem. I shut the car off and restarted it and it worked fine although we where just waiting for it to break again. 2 days later driving home from work up a hill it happened again only this time it started bucking a bit and shooting forward in small bursts until i brake and shut the car off. Again i started the car and made it home. I have a service appointment scheduled but after reading about this problem online i cannot believe i am going to have to pay for what appears to be a common problem and a major safety concern. I am just glad i drive back roads and 4 miles to work. |
