Description of the problem | I was driving on the highway and my escape lost power or ability to accelerate forward. The open wrench tool lite up on the dash board. My escape slowed down significantly. The vehicle continued to run and would drive very slowly but when i would press on the gas, it would not go any faster. Once the vehicle was turned off and then back on, it appeared to work just fine. About a week later, the exact thing happened again when traveling at approximately 50mph. My car is now at a ford dealership, but they say it is not happening when they drive it and unless it happens with them, there is nothing they can do about the situation. |
