Description of the problem | Car showed no previous sign of damage. The vehicle has had regular oil changes and a replaced battery in november 2012. At the time of the incident, i had 3/4 tank of quality exxonmobil gasoline. Drove 10 minutes to ramp without issue/light. Accelerating on ramp, the wrench and battery lights came on. This was rush hour traffic in downtown houston. It was extremely dangerous. Tried to restart car and managed to drive to shoulder. Vehicle was towed. Shop said that the throttle had to be replaced. The vehicle was still under warranty. |
