Description of the problem | On 6/20/13, i was driving on the interstate when suddenly, truck started to decrease speed and yellow wrench symbol appeared on dashboard. I pulled over and cut off vehicle. When i started the vehicle up again, it made a sound as if it was going to kill, however, it cranked up and i proceeded to drive home, and wrench symbol didn't come on again. The next day, i went to work and vehicle operated fine that morning , until i left for lunch. The vehicle shut down while making a turn and battery light came on. Luckily the dealership wasn't far, each time i stopped at a red light it killed. Finally made it to the dealership, and was told the throttle body wire needed to be replaced. Ended up paying $533.. |
