Description of the problem | I was going around a bend to enter a highway when my car "stuttered" and stopped running. I saw the powertrain light come on before it stopped. I put my hazards on and sat there for a few minutes. I was afraid of somebody coming around the bend behind me and not realizing i am stuck. I tried to restart it and it fortunately it did. There was no indication that the car was just going to abruptly come to a stop. I was lucky to not be on the highway. I was able to drive it home but the next day it didn't start at all. I brought it to my ford dealer who told me it was a problem with a throttle body and that they have had several problems with them. |
