Description of the problem | Had to make an emergency stop. The abs system engaged and there was no accident. Afterwards i had no brake. Car has been in four different repair shops and i have spent over $2000. I have had front brakes and rear brakes replaced, master cylinder replaced and a used abs module replaced. Still do not have proper brake. Found service notice online from ford #19s54 which addresses this issue on some ford vehicles and states a recall is in progress.. Escape is not included but problems are the same. Similar parts are used on many ford vehicles. Escape should be included in recall. My car is useless without brakes. |
