Description of the problem	I was leaving the dealership for an unrelated service and noticed that my car was having trouble going- it felt labored. Initially i thought it was cold or something but soon realized there was a serious problem. I turned around and drove back to the dealer (1-2 miles round trip). When i stopped the car it smoked. My service person says its a potential problem with the brake system and with the hcu. Basically my front brakes locked up while i was driving. No warning lights were on. My car is still in the shop because the parts needed to ultimately fix and diagnose are on backorder until mid feb. Also, there are apparently a couple other ford escapes in the shop right now with the same problem. I believe the parts on are backorder because this is a systemic issue with the escapes.
