Description of the problem | I have a 2010 ford escape and the power steering assist fault came up on the dashboard and my power steering no longer works. I have taken it to 2 different ford dealers in el paso, tx and they say that there's no recall. I don't understand why not, there are several ford vehicles that have been recalled but my vehicle is not. Why? My husband was driving the vehicle at the time it occurred there was no warning it just went out--the power steering. I have kept up with my cars maintenance and before my husband left out of town i made sure that the oil was changed and all was good with the vehicle. I asked the ford dealer if it needed power steering and they said no its electrical. Now i've been driving my 2010 ford escape with no power steering. |
