Description of the problem | I had turned off the highway and was traveling down a busy road when my car completely stopped without warning. Luckily, i was in the right lane and on a bit of a downward slope and was able to steer the "dead" car off the road. I turned off the engine and waited a minute. I turned on the car and it started again. I am concerned as i do a lot of highway driving and if my car suddenly stops like that again, there could be dire consequences. The earliest a dealer can look at my car is january 8th. My local dealer - january 14th. Today is december 28th. After reading some of these reports, i am afraid to drive it. Meanwhile, i need to rent a car, until someone at a ford dealer is able to look at it this is not the first time this has happened. However, after previously having the car towed to a dealership - i thought the problem was resolved. |
