Description of the problem | Corrosion of hatchback brackets. I have ownened my escape for 2 yrs and noticed the corrosion of these brackets. I was returning home from shopping and went to open the glass portion of the hatchback when the hinges broke off due to the corrosion over the years. The only thing i can think about is what if this would have happened while i was on an interstate, not a good ending. I have checked other websites and this is a very common problem with these veichles. I have even noticed this problem in shopping parking lots and other ford escapes on the road. Please advise what to do this is a very serious problem as well as dangerous. |
