Description of the problem | While driving on a busy morning highway my throttle went out. I could not accelerate and had to immediately put on my hazard lights and find a way out of traffic, with no way to accelerate. I thought this might have been a one time fluke, until it happened two more times. My car service provider isn't able to do much for me since no warning sensors have been triggered during any event. The three occurrences were at speeds of 55, 25 and 60 mph. This is a dangerous and scary problem. What if i had not been able to get out of the way in time? When will ford be held fully accountable for the problems they have acknowledged having with escape throttles and their sensors? |
