Description of the problem | While driving on the interstate at highway speed the vehicle suddenly lost all power. The engine warning lights came on and it had no accelerator response. Managed to pull over onto shoulder, turned off the engine waited a moment and it restarted and ran normally. While i was fortunate enough to pull over safely, this could be a very dangerous situation when you have no control of the vehicle. At first it happened just once or twice making me think. It was just bad gasoline or a fuel filter. Over the months since it has gotten worse and i learned of the throttle body defect. |
