Description of the problem | On 6/18/2013 i was driving around 45 mph and my escape's engine/power train completely turned off and i coasted onto the shoulder. I waited a few minutes and it started again. I took it to a garage we use and they could not find the problem. A few days later the engine shut down again when i was driving around 60 mph. I coasted to the shoulder of the highway, waited a few minutes and started it again. On 8/2/2013 the engine shut down once again. This time the engine light came on. I paid over $600 to have the throttle body replaced at this time. |
