Description of the problem | Driving at 45-50 mph, car stalled and "wrench-shaped" warning light came on. By descriptions i've read, car went into "limp home" mode. I was able to pull to the side of the road... No acceleration capability, tight steering, rpm bouncing between 500-900. Shut off engine, restarted, ran fine for next 30 minutes of drive with speeds ranging from idle and 10-60 mph. Friend notified me of the below open investigation that fits what happened.
