Description of the problem | Traveling on a highway, going 60 mph, my wrench light came on and the car went into "limp" mode. This happened two more times until i was able to get somewhere safe to call a tow truck. It turns out i have a bad throttle body which i have since learned is quite common in 2010 ford escapes. There needs to be a recall on this item. Yes, the engine did what it was supposed to, but losing power at 60 mph during rush hour is quite dangerous. |
