Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2010 ford escape. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph the sun roof "exploded" inside the vehicle. The contact was not injured by the glass due the cover on the sun roof. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer who took pictures of the shattered glass and sent the images to the manufacturer. The manufacturer determined that there was no defect on the glass. The contact stated that there was no debris on the road or anything that hit the sunroof to cause it to explode. The contact stated that the manufacturer should be responsible for the repairs and does not feel safe driving the vehicle. The failure mileage was 600. |
