Description of the problem | Wife was driving vehicle, when she heard a pop. When she got home she noticed the sunroof glass had exploded. She told me and i went out to see if i could find a rock or any other foreign object. Could not find anything. The sunroof glass just failed in an outward direction. Ford has denied warranty claim and denied our appeal. I have read several other reports of this same thing happening with their ford escapes. Driving along and hear a pop sound. Then later realize their sunroof has failed. This critical situation needs to be brought to attention of ford motor co. And have them stand behind their product, if said product is still under the manufacturers warranty. |
