Description of the problem | It only happens when you drive the car for a while (45+ minutes), turn it off, and then start it up 15-45 minutes later. It will start but then within the first 100 yards it will go sluggish and stall. When i try to give it gas that doesn't help. I have to turn the car off, put it in park and start it back up. A few times it's stalled 3 times in a row. Once it gets going good it's fine. It's always fine if it's been off for a while (first thing in the morning or starting after work). Eventually the service engine light came on, i took it to a shop, a guy diagnosed it, changed out a sensor and the fuel pump. It didn't help. |
