Description of the problem | Drove the car in the morning of 8/11 just fine, in the afternoon went to start the car and it will not move out of park, dashboard states the car is in neutral. The car has been like this since since 8/11 and parked in my driveway. Received a letter in the mail on 8/13 that this issue is an actual recall and when we called local ford dealer, they informed us that they don't know when they will have the part to fix our car! What can we do? We can't use the car and they can't fix it! Can we simply return the car? We have an outstanding car loan and are paying for a car that's had three recalls so far since we've had it. We can't afford to keep paying uber to get to work and a car loan and car insurance for a car that no one can tell us when it will get fixed! |
