Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ford escape. While the contact's wife was driving approximately 35 mph, an abnormal noise was heard from the front end of the vehicle. Also, the check engine warning indicator illuminated continuously while the vehicle was hot. The contact mentioned that the indicator did not illuminate while the vehicle was cool. There were also other multiple unknown indicators that illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the coolant valve needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Sayville ford (5686 sunrise hwy, sayville, ny 11782, (855) 561-1191) was contacted and stated that there were no recalls for the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,620. |
