Description of the problemCurrent issue is head gasket overheated and blew. Coolant is internally leaking into the engine. Car blows out a ton of exhaust while driving and has the smell of coolant in it. I can't even drive on the highway anymore because the car overheats and limits my speed to 45 mph. Sometimes i have to pull over just to let it cool down. Every time the car starts up it vibrates so much that its quite annoying. Sometimes the car shuts off right after i start it in the morning, right after a crazy burst of vibration. A little over a month ago i started my car and it vibrated so much and then so much oil leaked from my car, exhaust blew out dark black smog and smoke was coming from my hood. Car is really loud on idle, never been in a car so loud with so much vibration all throughout the car. Car constantly overheats and has no power when driving. Car vibrates insanely when i'm idle at a red light. Check engine light goes on and off every other day. My mechanic has done research on the car and says to get rid of it, it's not even worth fixing; he says you'll end up spending just as much money fixing this in the long run than just buying a new car. My mechanic said fixing the head gasket wont solve your problem, you need an entire new engine and cylinder block. We've been doing a lot of research on this car/model and everyone's having the same issues and can't really get down to the bottom line on what's wrong with the vehicle. I'm curious if everyone has the same problem with this car/model that there's no major recall on it. Instead people are driving around with a loud car that constantly vibrates, leaks coolant into the engine and having to constantly take it to the shop.
