Description of the problem | For the past 6 months (approximately) my car has been experiencing antifreeze leaks. My vehicle has roughly 71,850 miles and it is a 2014 ford escape. About once a month my info lights comes on signaling my engine coolant is low. I have taken it to a couple locations and no one can find a leak. In february the mechanic suggested i replace the cap in case it is evaporating. I replaced the cap end of april and once again in may the light can back on. I fill the coolant to the max line, but after a month it is at the min line or sometimes lower. I saw there are no recalls on my vehicle, but this seems to be a serious issue as my car can fail while i am driving around with my infant child in the car. No mechanic can seem to help me. |
