Description of the problem	It has been a problem with 2014 ford escapes that the transmission fails and engine cylinder defects from the louisville assembly plant in louisville, kentucky. My car was manufactured at this plant during the dates of the defects in 2013. The defects effected the 2014 escapes. The recall is on cars from feb 2013 through sept 2013. My vechile was manufactured june 2103 which is in the "recall dates". I had to replace the transmission on a car with less than 100,000 miles at the cost of $3,800 because the ford dealership said that "it's not under warranty or recall". The car now has a p304 code which is cylinder 4 defect that is a know defect of the cylinder head. I contacted ford and they "may look at it" and if there are enough complaints they "may do a recall" on my vin number. Ford "may reimburse me for the transmission that i put in" these are know defects from this manufacturing plant with other vins getting repairs. The car was driving rough prior to the transmission being replaced which was the head gear starting to go. I appreciate your time.
