Description of the problem | My mother owns a 2014 ford escape with the 1. 6l turbocharged ecoboost engine. She notes that the fuel sensors in the car aren't injecting fuel into the engine when she accelerates from a stop, meaning the car will stick in neutral and rev until it kicks back in gear. She notes that this has happened multiple times. We had taken it to keller bros. Ford which is where she purchased it, and they couldn't come up with the problem. So then we went to new holland ford, and they were able to find the problem. The guy even showed my mom how to reset the fuel sensor. But the problem came back up again. My mom, i, and her boyfriend are at the point where if sometime the car hesitates, and someone hits her, she's going to be killed. Ford, you need to do something about this. I don't want my mother killed. So recall the escape 1. 6l's that have the problem and come up with a solution. |
