Description of the problem | This happened twice in less than a month. Driving the ford escape at lower speeds (less than 40 mph) on a city street during morning traffic hours. Suddenly heard a continuous loud sound on the rear right of car. Vehicle then lost power. Engine shut down. Had to pull to the shoulder and restart the car. Then it worked fine. The dealer could not find any error codes when i took in for service. The air conditioner was on. Outside temperature was around 70f. Not raining. |
