Description of the problem | As i was backing out of a parking spot, vehicle became stuck in reverse. Shift arm was stuck in reverse and could not be moved. My foot had to remain pressed down on brake pedal to prevent vehicle from moving farther backward and hitting nearby parked vehicles. Vehicle was turned off to prevent further backward movement, which left vehicle blocking oncoming vehicles moving through lot. Vehicle was towed to dealer. Dealer diagnosed problem as a loose shifter arm bolt. Bolt was tightened. |
