Description of the problem | My 2014 ford escape drove fine until my husband drove it to work and was trying to back into a parking spot. The car wouldn't go into reverse. Later that night when he left work the car started shifting rough so had the car towed to prevent more damage. Was told by the dealership that i needed a new transmission at 116,000 miles. So i have been working with ford to see if they will pay all or at least half. Now 17 months later i have just given up on the run around with the home office for something that should have been a recall for bad parts and just paying for the fix. Either replacement toward planetary disk with solenoid damage. Or new transmission. |
