Description of the problem | When driving for long distance about more 60 mile (on a highway) i got spontaneous message "power reduced to lower engine temperature" followed by "transmission fault service now" then the car enters limp mode. After about 20 minutes, the car starts accelerating and get back to normal even the two messages above still appears on the dash. Then after a while, the two messages disappear. The car has been checked by the ford company here at my country, the result was negative and the system appears to be normal. However, the messages above appears only on a highway. |
