Description of the problem | After driving the suv for awhile, and when alternating between the brake and the gas, the suv will lose the ability to accelerate. The suv will give the warning of an engine fault, service now. The suv will not be able to move forward due to the lack of a gas pedal. The suv will start to shake and rattle. The only option a driver then has is to come to a complete stop, turn the engine off, and turn the suv back on. All other functions of the care, the brakes, the electrical, the power steering, are still functioning. This has almost caused numerous accidents as this fault has occurred on highways, residential roads, and city streets, as well as when the suv is moving into an intersection at stop signs and red lights. |
