Component | AIR BAGS |
Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | The air bag light is on and the ford dealer says that the issue is related to the connections that are under the seats. The connections need to be cleaned and reattached. They indicated that it was caused by cookie crumbs, juice, etc. Probably from children. I indicated that the vehicle is a 2012 and that cookies, etc. Should not be able to cause a safety device as important as an air bag from not working. I believe that this issue should be investigated as if cookie crumbs, etc. Can cause air bags to fail then there should be an immediate recall to address the issue. |
