Description of the problem | Airbag sensor came on at about 66,000 miles. Disregarded for a while, as i was on a long trip. Went to dealer and they put on computer; diagnosis codes are dtc b141b and b141c. Dealer suggested to replace the airbag harness, with connectors replaced for $963. 17, b/c warranty conveniently expired at 60,000 miles. This is a safety issue as none of the airbags in the car will deploy unless i pay ford ransom for a part that has no moving parts. I see multiple people with same issue so there should be a recall. |
