Description of the problem | 7/25/2017 driving on highway at 55 mph, passed a vehicle accelerating to approximately 70 mph. Within seconds of slowing back to 55 mph passenger cabin filled with fumes (smells like burning hair) opened all windows but breathing very difficult, had to pull off road and exit vehicle until clear. Air conditioner was not set on recirculate at the time. This has been a recurring problem and dealer supposedly "fixed" in june 2016. However, this incident was the first time i had to get out of the vehicle. Problem seems to occur more often when air conditioner on or set to recirculate, but does occur when a/c not in use. Developed a headache shortly after incident. |
