Description of the problem	Every time i turn on the a/c there is a nasty smell that comes to life and lingers for about 3 mins. My car was purchased brand new and the smell happened right away, i brushed it off as new car smell but this is the 2nd summer in which the smell continues to fill the air when the a/c is on. This odor smells unsafe for me and my kids. I have researched and found many many others have complained of the same thing. I called the service dept. In which they told me i have to buy a new filter for my brand new car. This doesnt make sense. I called customer service to which they said they can not assist in this matter. Why hasnt there been a recall yet? If ford can confirm this odor is harmless then please send the a letter stating so. I have asked for this and they state they cannot provide as such. Every time i turn on the a/c i am breathing in fumes of unknown substances. How long before the odors are found to be harmful and the damage to my health and my childrens health is compromised? Please help make ford responsible for this.
