Description of the problem | Smelled gasoline in cabin after driving car for 2 miles in morning. Air conditioner was on, temp was approx 75 degrees. Contacted dealer and they said that sometimes with new cars it is the result of the coating on the new parts. Car was purchased brand new yesterday, but had 187 mies on it. (per dealer, it may have been a swap from another dealer and the miles came from transport). Made a service appointment for 8/16 (next available), but service rep had no knowledge of any issues of this sort. |
