Description of the problem | I have had this happen twice over the last year. When i have accelerated quickly while in motion on a highway , the accelerator pedal will remain depressed down. The car will continue to accelerate with my foot off the gas pedal. I then apply the brakes pedal several times and 1) pull off road in the first instance or 2) gas pedal will return to normal position and car will decelerate |
