Description of the problem | Hankook ventus s1 noble 2 tires, size 255/50/r20/105h for ford explorer 2017 wore out upon inspection. Mileage was under 21, 000 and tire thread was really bad. Needed to be replaced. Dealer said it was my responsiblity. Hankook tires are supposed to last for 50,000 miles. These tires should be recalled. Dealer was able to pay for 60% of tires and replaced with new one, however, i had to pay for 40%. Ridiculous never have i payed for new tire with a leased car. Will never do business with ford. This is a safety hazard, tires need to be recalled, noticed same tires on brand new ford explorer 2020. Dealership has pictures etc. |
