Description of the problem | We were driving forward on the interstate when the car lost power, a wrench logo appeared on the dash display, then we coasted the car to a stop at the left side of the road. Then we smelled smoke, saw flames flickering up from the hood, vacated the vehicle and called 911 as the front of the car under the hood burst into flames. The car was quickly engulfed in flames. City police arrived to control traffic away from our burning car, and then the firetruck and firefighters arrived and put out the fire. The car was towed away on a flatbed. |
