Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford f-150. While driving approximately 60 mph, the contact drove over a pothole and the vehicle stalled. The contact coasted the vehicle over to the side of the road. A picture of a battery was displayed on the center of the instrument panel. After approximately five minutes, the vehicle was restarted and operated normally. However, after approximately three miles, the failure recurred. The contact also stated that the vehicle restarted after he struck the fuse box a few times. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 198,000. |
