Description of the problem | 2010 f-150 supercrew - lariat 5. 4l. Capless fuel filler - check engine light comes on + message center displays 'check fuel fill inlet'. Check engine light diagnosed as 'low level leak evap system'. Called ford about a recall on the capless fuel fill that appears to affect many other vehicles; gave them my vin and they replied 'there is no recall on your vin'. Asked if they had issues w/ the capless fuel system and they would not respond. Also smell gas fumes when i first enter the garage area in the morning after parking the truck overnight w/ garage door closed. |
