Description of the problem | Ford f-150 will not start intermittently. The engine cranks but will not start. The issue has been identified with fuse #27 over heating but not blowing. Fuse #27 is the fuse for the fuel pump diver module. The engine has not died on me while in motion though there are multiple other instances of individuals who have had their vehicle die on them. (https://www. Cargurus. Com/cars/discussion-c21953_ds740770) i worry that i won't be so lucky as to have the issue only happen while parked and it only be an inconvenience. Ford has issued a tsb for 2009-2014 f-150s, tsb 15-0137 to relocate the fuse. I recommend nhtsa order ford to recall of all trucks possibly affected so this does not create an accident in the future. |
