Description of the problem | The power door lock actuators in all four doors have failed within a period of two months. When the actuators fails, the door will no longer lock/unlock with keyless remote or by using the inside button to unlock the doors. Only the driver door has a key hole, so when the other rdoor are not working, the only way to unlock the door is from the inside. Occasionally while the door actuators is not working, the door is difficult to open from the inside as if the lock is difficult to unlock. The only repair to fix the actuators is by replacing the entire door latch mechanism. I worry the door would become inoperable and unable to open someone could be trapped inside. Another concern is vehicle theft due to the door not looking as assumed when pressing the button. |
